In 2019, she founded PenCT Pty Ltd, an innovative company focused on harnessing modern technologies to advance Africa through renewable energy solutions and smart city initiatives. By utilizing accessible energy resources such as sunlight and water, PenCT is at the forefront of driving sustainable development across the continent.

Driven by a strong commitment to gender equality and empowerment, Penny Mkhize established the African Dream Fund in 2023.
