Christoph Wurm sees himself as a guide, navigator and facilitator for the sustainable development of businesses. He is an independent management consultant and focuses intensively on development issues, finance and sustainability, guided by the motto: ‘Develop businesses, discover finance and experience sustainability’. His areas of expertise include the interplay between people/social aspects, finance, organisation, compliance and governance. Prior to this, Christoph Wurm spent 25 years in the banking sector, 15 of which were as a board member and, most recently, from 2015 to 2021 as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Volkskreditbank AG.
He has served on the supervisory boards of various companies (OÖ KGG, Athos Immobilien AG, VA Intertrading) and held various roles in social organisations and NGOs (including PfadfinderInnen und Pfadfinder OÖ, Schuldnerhilfe OÖ, SOS-Menschenrechte, B7-Arbeit und Leben). He is a member of the advisory board of the CSR Dialogue Forum. He is an assessor for Eccos22 and EFQM (on behalf of Quality Austria) and a Certified Sustainability Management Expert.
Christoph Wurm is a qualified lawyer (graduated from Johannes Kepler University Linz) with extensive training in finance and management.
