Management Assessment eccos22

The eccos²²® Management Assessment provides verified information on the current state of a company’s performance to ensure seamless interaction between people and processes. As an integrated management system, the eccos²²® Management Assessment is based on international standards in line with the latest state of the art, including the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the UN Global Compact, and the EFQM Model. This has resulted in an internationally recognized tool for assessing the economic, environmental, and social responsibility of companies, regardless of industry or size.

Additionally, the requirements for the international and government-recognized eccos²²® certification by Quality Austria and the eccos²²® seal of quality, awarded by the CSR Dialogue Forum, are met. This confirms to all stakeholders that the audited company aims to achieve a positive impact through its business activities. In doing so, companies lay the best foundation for successfully communicating strategies, goals, and values, strengthening employer branding, and achieving full credibility. Enhance your standing with partners, investors, consumers, and the public.

Mag. Patrick Doppler

Manager Export Control and CSR, FACC AG

The eccos22® assessment provided our company with an objective overview of where we stand in terms of ESG. At the same time, it highlighted our weaknesses, which we are now addressing in a targeted manner to improve our ESG performance! All of this was made possible by a highly competent and friendly eccos22® team.”

During the second main assessment, FACC AG found that its sustainability activities had been very focused thanks to the certification through eccos22®. The person primarily responsible, Mag. Patrick Doppler, commented: “We are very glad that we embarked on the path of transformation with the eccos22® Management Assessment at the start of the pandemic. The support provided by the Quality Austria team, and especially by Brunhilde Schram, was an enormous help to us, which is why we recently conducted another eccos22® Management Assessment. Engaging with the broad field of sustainability has helped us lay a solid foundation for current and future challenges, including the new reporting requirements under CSRD/ESRS.”

Mr. Doppler, what prompted your company to implement the eccos22® Management Assessment, and what were its objectives?

There were actually several reasons behind our decision. For one thing, at FACC we’ve already done a lot in terms of CSR over the past few years, without even paying much attention to the term itself.

The eccos²²® Management Assessment consists of two parts. It begins with a feasibility check that evaluates requirements, framework conditions, and the organization’s current status, and serves as the basis for a proposal. This is followed by the eccos²²® Assessment, for which the following preparatory steps are required: a self-assessment and the submission of a sustainability report or annual report (if available).

The eccos²²® Management Assessment consists of a main assessment and two consecutive annual progress assessments. Afterward, the process can continue with another three-year assessment cycle.

The federal Quality Seal will be awarded in 4 stages by the 4 CSR Dialogforum and Quality Austria:

  • Committed to eccos²² excellence – Bronze
  • Recognized to eccos²² excellence – Silver
  • eccos²² excellence – Gold
  • eccos²² leadership – Platinum

FACC AG receives eccos²²®-Certification

Following a delay caused by the pandemic, the ceremonial presentation of the eccos²²® certificate, the ONR 192500 certificate, and the eccos²²® seal of quality took place at the FACC AG Technology Center on July 15. It was a fitting setting for this event, which honored a company that has already proven itself to be an absolute pioneer in innovation within the aviation industry. Now, a total of three awards for sustainable corporate management have been added—a topic that, until now, has been the domain of “first movers,” even though sustainability has generally entered the mainstream in recent years with the UN SDGs and the EU Green Deal. With eccos²²®, FACC AG has now initiated a transformation process that will gradually lead the company ever deeper toward business excellence and sustainability at the highest level.

Dr. Angelika Winzig, the Austrian delegation leader in the EU Parliament and patron of this award ceremony, traveled from Brussels specifically for the occasion. She emphasized the importance of sustainable solutions for implementing the EU Green Deal and also praised Upper Austria’s innovative strength.
DI Axel Dick, responsible for CSR at Quality Austria, among other things, praised the company for seizing this “window of opportunity” to advance the achievement of the SDGs and continuously improve corporate quality. Review of the 2017 World Market Leaders Congress: Awarding of the eccos²²® Seal of Excellence to Österreichischer Wirtschaftsverlag

We congratulate Österreichischer Wirtschaftsverlag on receiving the first international eccos²²® Seal of Excellence for Excellence in Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility!

As part of the World Market Leader Congress on November 29 & 30, 2017, in Vienna Schönbrunn, the first international eccos²²® Seal of Excellence was awarded by the CSR Dialogforum—accredited and holding consultative status with the United Nations—in collaboration with Quality Austria.

Once again this year, the CSR Dialogforum was represented at the World Market Leader Congress. Interesting topics, inspiring presentations, and noteworthy “best practice” examples formed the framework of the two-day congress. However, the highlight from the CSR Dialogforum’s perspective was the presentation of the eccos²²® Seal of Excellence to Österreichischer Wirtschaftsverlag!
