Patricia Obichukwu is CEO of Best Produce International (UK) Ltd and Wellbeing Connect Services. She is a leading expert in agricultural quality standards, export promotion, and supply chain management. In Nigeria, she has played a key role in advancing the implementation of GLOBALG.A.P. and International Featured Standards for agricultural and processed products.
With over 29 years of experience in the food industry—particularly in the processing and marketing of fresh produce—she has established herself as a leading advisor on export strategies and quality control. In addition, she brings more than 17 years of international export experience and over 18 years in consulting and training. Alongside her work in the agricultural sector, she leads Wellbeing Connect Services, a charitable organization dedicated to mental health and social support.
Previously, she served as a Non-Executive Director at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust, where she focused on risk management as well as women’s and children’s healthcare.
Her academic background includes a master’s degree in Training and Performance Management from University of Leicester and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Social Sciences and Health Studies from University of North London. She also holds a diploma in business management and various certifications in catering and management.
As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), she is active in several international bodies and represents Nigeria and West Africa at the International Fruit and Vegetable Juice Association. In recognition of her contributions, she has received multiple awards, including the Women Economic Forum Award 2023 for her work in advancing women and sustainable development. She is widely regarded as a respected advisor and networker committed to sustainable economic development and social equity.
